Veterinary Biomedical and Clinical Journal (VBCJ) is a peer reviewed journal that has been publishing articles periodically in January and July each year since 2019. VBCJ accommodates articles in any field of veterinary and biomedical science, as well as veterinary case reports.

Focus and Scope

Veterinary Biomedical and Clinical Journal (VBCJ) accommodates articles in any field of veterinary and biomedical science, as well as veterinary case reports.

Peer Review Process

  • At least two or more expert reviewers will review each manuscript for the related topic. 
  • Generally, two (2) weeks will be needed for the reviewer to complete one round reviewing process.
  • Judgment from the first reviewer will be the main priority for the Editorial Board of VBCJ to decide. 
  • Generally, the candidate of reviewers will be chosen based on their reputation in the international publication number and quality. After that, the Editor will send the invitation letter to each candidate for review. After the candidate of reviewer is informed their availabilities for reviewing process, the Editor create account for each reviewer (if needed) and then send manuscript by OJS. 
  • All reviewing processes are in blind peer review and managed by section editor in the OJS (Open Journal System).

Open Access Policy

Veterinary Biomedical and Clinical Journal (VBCJ) is an open access journal which means that all contents are available for free without charge to users or institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes

Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus, scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software with similarity index by 15%.
